A Galway native and Chartered Physiotherapist, Niamh graduated in 2009 with a Masters degree in Physiotherapy form the Robert Gordon University of Aberdeen. This followed on from the completion of a four year Bachelor of Science honour’s degree in Human Anatomy from NUI Galway.
In the most recent years Niamh has spent the majority of her career working in private clinics in both Dublin and New Zealand. She has gained vast experience in dealing with the management and treatment of acute sporting injuries to that of more chronic age related symptoms.
While living in New Zealand she obtained further training in manual techniques that she uses in her hands on approach to treating her patients. Niamh has also obtained her qualifications in Dry Needling, Mulligans Mobilisation Techniques and advanced Manipulations.
Since qualifying Niamh has also spent 2 years working in the NHS where she gained valuable experience working in the acute hospital setting, inpatients/outpatient services, primary care and specialized rehabilitation facilities including chronic low back pain.
In her spare time Niamh is an active gym goer and sports enthusiast, she has represented both Connaught and Ireland in International Junior squash for a number of years.
